Where it all began

The Internet Archive, or “Wayback Machine”, is a treasure trove of the websites of yesteryear. Quietly scanning and archiving websites, it records our digital past, the past versions of our websites and even domains that are no longer active.

I’ve had many websites over the years and I haven’t always kept copies of my work. Thanks to the Wayback Machine I’ve been able to retrieve some of my old work, including this original versions of logos for one of my earliest sites – a domain I still own today.

Maybe it’s because I’m getting old or maybe I just feel a little nostalgic, but I’m very grateful for the Internet Archive for storing this stuff. I’m working through my own digital past at the moment, copying and updating things to add to my current sites.
