Another day, another legal challenge to the wholesale looting and pillaging of human-created art by our machine overlords. To be clear, I’ve got no problem with generative AI. I’d love to use it more, but I won’t use it until there’s an option where every single person whose content has been used to train the AI is paid for their contribution.
But there’s no profit in paying artists, right?
